Caliban's War by James S.A. Corey

Folks, I'm not sure the Expanse series can get any better. Caliban's War gives us the perfect combination of political intrigue and naval engagement strategy with a heart-tugging mystery thrown in the mix.

On the OPA front, captain James Holden and his crew return to provide humanitarian relief to the residents of Ganymede after a man-made disaster decimates the Jovian moon. As the only living witness to the disaster, MCRN gunnery sergeant Roberta 'Bobbie' Draper is sent to Earth to testify at the Mars-Earth peace summit. Dismissed by her superiors as suffering from post traumatic stress, only the assistant to the UN under-secretary, Chrisjen Avasarala, takes an interest in what Bobbie has to say.

The behind-the-scenes politics turn an already dangerous situation into a powder keg. All that's needed is a spark to set off a three-way battle that could bring about the end of humanity.

It's left to Holden, Bobbie, and Chrisjen to make sure that doesn't happen.
